Hello! I am Alessandro and I am young filmmaker from Rochester, New York living in the New York Metropolitan area. My artistic style has been called powerful and sensitive. I love stories that are about characters discovering themselves in worlds that are not what they seem. My influences are Steven Spielberg, Stephen King, Danny Boyle, Charlie Kaufman, and Wes Anderson.

After graduating from Hofstra University in 2015 as a film major, I entered the professional world with my senior thesis film Off the Rails. It won second place at the Hofstra Student Film Festival and was accepted into the Garden State Film Festival and the Golden Door Film Festival. My next short film Unspoken is premiering at the 2020 Ridgefield Independent Film Festival.

When I am not creating my own projects, I do freelance editing and production work. I have been employed by House Hunters International, Oxygen, Discovery, and the History Channel to name a few. I hope you enjoy my work and I'd love to collaborate!

UNSPOKEN

This is the teaser for my latest short film Unspoken. It is a psychological thriller about a young boy who stops talking after experiencing a traumatic event. Followed and attacked by a mysterious creature, he must search within himself if he wants to defeat it.

This is my senior thesis film about an autistic boy meets a girl with Asperger's. Despite their radically different characteristics, they learn to respect one another and try to understand the world around them.
